Todd Concklin

Todd started out working nights in the office after school stuffing envelopes for mailings and gradually worked his way up. He entered the insurance business in 1984 and was licensed at age 18.  Although he's still stuffing envelopes he is now also in charge of the technology and marketing aspects of the business.

Todd is married with 3 children and lives in Orange County NY. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his daughters travel softball team and riding his Harley.

Financial Self-Defense

My name is Todd Concklin and I’ve been working with my dad in our family owned-operated insurance agency for the last 25+ years.

So what that means for you is that you get to deal with the people who have the most invested in your satisfaction. You also get to work with people who have the ability to shop rates from up to 30 of the top life insurance carriers for you.

I’m married with 3 kids – 2 girls, one boy. I live and work in the suburbs of NY.

I started in the family agency at the age of 18 (I’m now 43). Truthfully, I felt out of place in the insurance business when I started. While attending sales seminars and “learning” the latest sales tactics and techniques I remember sitting there thinking “this ain’t what I’m about.”

That’s because I don’t like the idea of “selling” people anything. I don’t like to pressure people into buying what I want them to.

I took me a long time to feel comfortable in this business and the only reason I ever did is because I found out what I am about. I am about helping people protect their families, not pressuring or selling them.

I don’t like it when “salesmen” look at me like they’re the squirrel and I’m the nut either so I’m not going to do that to others.

Financial Self-Defense

Another thing about me is that I’ve studied and practiced martial arts and self-defense for over 20 years. In those years of training and learning it became very obvious that the simple and direct works best.

I remember back in the early 80’s when New York implemented the mandatory use of seat belts. I remember it well because being in my early 20’s I really resented “them” telling me what to do. Making me wear a seatbelt really got me twisted. So naturally I refused to wear one out of principle.

Then one day after I got pulled over and issued a $200 fine I started to think a little deeper on the subject.

It occurred to me that I was spending all this time (about 15 hours a week) learning and practicing ways to protect myself but I was resisting something so simple yet so effective at protecting me.

Once I started looked at it that way I’ve worn a seatbelt ever since.

Life insurance is like that. I’m sure you don’t like people telling you that you need coverage. I’m sure you don’t like feeling like the nut all the insurance agent squirrels are chasing.

I’m not here to sell you or pressure you on anything. I’m here to help you when you decide that you really want to protect your family. I have the ability to shop the market and help you obtain some of the lowest rates out there.

I know it’s not something we like to think about but death is a reality. It happens everyday.
Let's face it, there are only 2 sources of income:

1.     People at work or....
2.     Money at work.

If something should happen to you today or tomorrow, do you have enough savings or assets to allow your family to continue living their current lifestyle?

If your like most Americans, the sad answer is no.  What about college costs and any debt or final expenses that will arise?

So if you’re ready, I’m ready. I’d be honored to help you financially defend and protect your family with life insurance.

No high-pressure, no sales-tricks just straight advice and great service.

That’s my promise to you.
