Here are some very helpful resources. It will make things much easier for you when and if you need to deal with Medicare, Claims, or have other questions and/or just need information.
Client E-Services for Your First United Policy
Here you will have 24-hour access to your policy information, such as premium paid to dates, claims, policy details, and much more.
You will need your policy number to create a logon.
This is a good resource for you to learn more about Medicare and what is and isn’t covered by them. Remember, Medicare is your Primary Coverage so they govern what is and isn’t covered or “approved.” If Medicare Does Not approve a service or charge then your supplemental plan with First United cannot pay for it either (except for foreign travel).
The Medicare Rights Center
This is a wonderful non-profit organization that provides information and direct assistance to older adults and people with disabilities as well as their friends, family and caregivers. In addition to taking your phone calls they also have an online tool called “Medicare Interactive” which is a dynamic, independent online resource of free information that helps older adults and people with disabilities navigate the complex world of health insurance.
